Inspiration Workshop from Gussy Sews

Well. My favorite color happens to be sparkle. Some of you may say, that isn't a color. But you'd be wrong. Hahaha. Here's some images:

Easy Half Apron

So I had seen some recycled aprons on Etsy, which gave me the inspiration to make one myself. I found a cute skirt at Plato's Closet for $2 and got this:

Cut the front half from the back

Cut the ribbon in half

sew the ribbon to the skirt. Tada!

Easy $5 Vase Project

This is what happens when you go into the thrift store with no real plans. You find stuff and come up with ideas!

All the flowers were 2 dollars, the cups of stones were 1 dollar each and the clear vases were 1 dollar all together. I already had the cut glass vase at home. So this makes it about 5 dollars all together.

This would be sure to spruce up any room in your house. It can be done in any color scheme and if you really can't find any of the supplies at the thrift store, they're all at the dollar store.

A Project Many Many Years in the Making

You see this quilt?

Yeah, I made it like....forever ago. I think 5 years but I'm not sure. This is one of my most favorite squares:

When I made this quilt, I also began a pillow...that I never finished. Until last night. So I did that and then made one out of the backing so now I have two pillow cases.

So tada! I would have taken in process pictures of the pillow cases but the camera battery was charging. Plus it is so simple to make pillow cases :)
